packing up orders is more fun with pretty string, fun postcards and wacky pencils. these postcards are now in the shop and the pencils will be soon. we had a blast coming up with funny phrases to put on pencils. can't wait to share the rest. hope they'll make you laugh.

and this one is one of my film photos: santa had a rough year. i think this would be a pretty funny alternative to a standard holiday greeting card.
last year we sent these to our friends and family. the were a hit!

and three more new kids tops... this first one is my favorite. as you can see i can't get enough of these contrasting cuffs.

also, i added a couple things to the sale section.
been having fun sewing up some new kids clothes. the next batch will feature lots of roll-able cuffs that show off fun contrasting fabrics. more long sleeves and pieces perfect for layering. also some tops (and pants?) will be completely reversible! i had a few reversible garments when i was a kid and i thought they were the coolest things ever.
yesterday i met up with my sister and nephew, max. he adorably modeled some of this new gear. super excited to show you photos! here's a little peek for now...

a couple new items in the shop:
this pillow cover made from a vintage shirt. cutest fabric ever, no? who doesn't love a pink and orange lion?
and more kids kitty tees. this time in neon! the camera didn't quite capture the neon green glow, but it's seriously there.
a couple of nice gals requested kitten tees, so i printed a handful and added them to the shop. very limited sizes and colors (for now). today i wore mine to the farmer's market... and the other day, to the movies (we saw midnight in paris).
here are my favorites so far. these and others will be in the shop soon. making these is so addictive! i love using scraps of second hand fabrics and garments, but i'm also considering a future collection in fun combinations of organic cotton. what do you think?

since everything in this kids update is made from stuff/scraps that i have on hand and am ever-so happy to use up, i'm not adding on any supply cost to the sale price... so these babies are gonna be pretty cheap!

just listed a couple of new (possibly limited) items in the shop.
forever we've sold the handsoaps in pairs, but we though we'd break up a few and sell them singly. hopefully they won't be too lonely!
and a couple of moleskine notebooks stamped and embossed with david's zombie-cat drawing.
i love the shiny-smooth feel of the embossing.
