auggie's outfit

here's a cute outfit i made for my cousin's little guy.  i used simplicity 1566 for all three pieces.  i added pockets to the trousers so they're not too plain. for the long-sleeve tee i used my little retro cars fabric (printed on organic cotton knit). i like this shirt pattern, the neck looks neat with hidden sewn-in snaps and top-stitching.  the zip-up hoodie is my favorite...  the fabric is super-soft, the striped binding gives the inside a special surprise and i just happened to have the perfect matching zipper!

    1. thanks so much! yup, i used my cover stitch machine… it's a cheap Brother that gives me trouble every time… but in the end i'm happy with the results. :-) yeah, i like to imagine that kids can feel the love when wearing handmade clothing. :-)
