here's a cute outfit i made for my cousin's little guy. i used simplicity 1566 for all three pieces. i added pockets to the trousers so they're not too plain. for the long-sleeve tee i used my little retro cars fabric (printed on organic cotton knit). i like this shirt pattern, the neck looks neat with hidden sewn-in snaps and top-stitching. the zip-up hoodie is my favorite... the fabric is super-soft, the striped binding gives the inside a special surprise and i just happened to have the perfect matching zipper!

This is just beautiful, amazing job!!! Do you do your stitching on your knits with a cover stitch? It is impecable!!! Lucky little Fella!
ReplyDeletethanks so much! yup, i used my cover stitch machine… it's a cheap Brother that gives me trouble every time… but in the end i'm happy with the results. :-) yeah, i like to imagine that kids can feel the love when wearing handmade clothing. :-)
