the other day i whipped up a few little drawstring gift bags from a fat quarter of my 'every last santa' fabric (mentioned here). i do enjoy wrapping gifts with paper (e.g. this and this) but it's so fun and easy with these re-usable pouches. i made three different sizes, two flat and one boxy, to fit various sized gifts. i used a swatch of my tiny geometry fabric to make one big enough to fit a specific item. these are really simple to make, no lining or fancy seam finishes, just a casing at the top (i used twill tape for the drawstrings). i know i'll look forward to re-using these year after year!
