booties

a christmas gift for niece, selah. the pattern is from natural nursery knits (a lovely book full of pretty photos and projects).  for a novice knitter like me these guys were super easy and fast.  the pattern says to turn the ribbed cuff in and stitch it in place, but i kind of like it better with it folded out like a hefty sock. 

i almost always get the size wrong when i knit things (scarves excluded), but somehow these fit selah just right with a little room to grow.
