finished a knitted scarf/cowl (simple knitting for me, thank you).  and a good thing, too, since we saw the first snowflakes fall yesterday.

got perfect (two-tone!) boots from this sweet etsy shop.  (if anyone wears a size 6 1/2, please buy these boots.  if only they could be stretched to a size 9).

drafted and tested a new blouse pattern.  referred to my 1970 edition of 'vogue sewing' to learn about rolled collars.  the illustrations are so much better in older sewing books.  don't you think?

decided that making a striped scarf from wool was too scratchy.  restarted in super-skooshy organic cotton.
